Interview with Mike Kenneally, NewSat VP of Satellite Strategy

The June 2012 issue of SA Defense Business featured Mike Keneally, the vice president of Satellite Strategy of NewSat. The biggest independent satellite firm and backhaul provider in Australia is preparing to roll out its ambitious satellite fleet that will serve high-growth markets around the globe, including the Asia-Pacific and Middle East.
Kenneally describes the company’s state-of-the-art teleport in Adelaide which runs 12 antennae that redirect satellite signals to end-users. According to Kenneally, NewSat is an accredited supplier of the Australian government. Having an “Endorsed Supplier” certification means that NewSat is qualified to deal with government contracts that require certain standards of quality.
